Hello, I’m Catherine. I’m a military wife, and my family and I have recently moved to Upper Marham. I’m looking forward to getting to know the local community and offering thoughtful, practical support to people who could use a little extra help at home.
With previous experience in care, I’ve seen how there can be a gap between managing everything alone and needing professional care. Sometimes, what makes the difference is a helping hand with everyday tasks, a friendly visit or someone to share a conversation with. I believe that having this kind of support earlier can help people maintain their confidence, independence and quality of life at home.
This is where Brighter Days comes in. I offer non-medical home help and befriending on a relaxed, personal level — shaped around the individual, their routines and the things that matter to them. I do not provide professional or personal care; my aim is to offer practical assistance and companionship, not to replace specialist care where it is needed.
The idea is personal to me. I’ve seen family members and close friends pay for professional care when the support they needed was not necessarily that level of service. Those experiences have made me passionate about helping to bridge that gap, so people can access appropriate support and feel less alone with everyday life.
I’d love to have a friendly, no-pressure conversation about the support you or someone you care about may be looking for.
